Our mission is to conduct comprehensive studies of the civil political sphere both in Russia and all over the world and its transformations caused by globalization process.
The Center’s ongoing research programs are interrelated with educational process targeted at training new generation of academic staff and socio-political experts for Russian high schools and think tanks.
Main Activities:
- organizing roundtables, research workshops and conferences at the national and global level;
- development of innovative training courses for Master's degree and postgraduate students as well as re-training courses for high-school teaching staff;
- training courses for qualified experts of the high school and political and public organizations;
- publishing of educational and scientific literature.
Canada bans the burqa during citizenship oath

The Canadian government is placing a ban on face coverings such as niqabs for people swearing their oath of citizenship, Immigration Minister Jason Kenney said Monday. The ban takes effect immediately.
